Urban Prairie Waldorf School

Parent-Child Program

Designed to meet the needs of young children ages 0 to 3 and to provide loving support for their parents, the Urban Prairie Parent-Child program is led by Paula Franzese. She creates a warm, caring environment where the children can explore and play. The program also provides a supportive community for parents to explore the joys and challenges of raising young children, learn simple crafts, and enjoy songs and stories with their children.

Paula Franzese has been an assistant at our sister school, City Garden Early Childhood Center, for two years.  She recently graduated from Arcturus Waldorf Teacher Training with a certification in Early Childhood.  She is also finishing a degree in Fine Arts at Harold Washington College.  Additionally, she studied art with the University of Florence in various cities throughout Italy.  Paula is excited to lead this program that links together Urban Prairie’s fast-growing elementary Waldorf program with the quality early childhood programming at City Garden.
